About this work
This work shows a village waterway with a donkey rider, a person washing vessels at the bank and a boatman, with palms and domed architecture beyond. Fine dark marks and loose washes of ochre, olive green and pale blue give the busy scene a light, unhurried feel. It suits a living room, reading corner or study with warm wood and earthy colours.
