The idea, in short

The Grid connects artists, artisans and emerging creators with the people who can put their work to use — designers, patrons, companies, institutions and modern markets. AARTY does not run it as a programme alongside the business. It is the business: the work in the Grid is the work in the gallery.

Creators are not applicants waiting for a decision about their circumstances. They are artists with a body of work. They set their own price and keep ownership of what they made; AARTY holds it, sells it, and pays them that price in full within seven days of a sale. Nothing on this page asks you for a donation, because there is nothing here to donate to.
